Hi all I don't really have a problem I would just liek to know what is your take on ide vs scuzzi? Any thoughts? I've heard scuzzy is quicker but that's is about all I've heard of scsi. Thanks in advance Bart

scsi (that's how its spelled - its a hard drive not your last bad date) is faster, louder, hotter, and more expensive.

SCSI HD's are generally used in servers, and IDE in PC's. Of course, you can use SCSI HD's in a PC, but with little benefit. SCSI supports better multiple read/write speeds, but you only have that senerio in a server environment. IDE configuration is much simpler as well, no SCSI id's, termination, ect.
Summary: What are we talking for a scsi hd vs a raid setup on a couple of ide's ? is there going to be a major difference? is it worth the extra dollars? ...
