I am part of a test group that tests different hardware configurations. We currently have a board with on board adaptec SCSI and we were hoping to find a way to speed up our overall boot time by forcing our scsi bios to only scan the channel and ID that were are using. It wastes about 10 seconds scanning ID's that we don't have any intention of populating. Does anyone know of a way to do this? TIA for any help offered.
