Scroll problem with Logitech wireless mouse

Logitech M510 wireless mouse

Specs: Windows Vista
For some reason today when I got back from work the scroll functionality was no longer there for my mouse. It worked perfectly in the morning. I changed nothing before leaving, but when I got home it no longer worked the same.
The mouse still works fine for everything else. The back, forward, right click, left click, and scroll button itself work fine. However, the mouse will not scroll up or down. I would think the mouse was just broken, but it allows me to press in the button to get the dot with the arrows (so I can scroll that way, but it's a lot more inconvenient).
Does anyone have any ideas? Or am I screwed and have to buy a new mouse?

Start>Control Panel>Hardware>Mouse and check the settings on scrolling.
If this does not work, try downloading the newest driver for it.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
