my gateway NE56R31u is stuck in preparing for automatic repair screen
Using recovery partition restore the system. If u have personal files remove them first, u can do this thru Linux live CD.

-Burn it to a disc
-Load it to a optical drive & boot from it
-Attach external hdd or a thumb drive and start to back the files (simple copy and paste)Read the system manual on how to restore your system
