Specs: Windows Vista
My Laptop Sony vaio vgn-cs270t has several red and green lines at the bottom and there is also a thick flickering line of one inch at the bottom, that shows what is being displayed at the top of the screen. It is a harware problem, Everything's OK when I plug an external screen.

Either your LCD display is damaged (if you have dropped the laptop, or have spilled liquid on it, or have otherwise subjected it to abuse, that's probably your situation) , or the cable between the display and the base of the laptop is damaged.

Laptop no video (or video problems), and battery, AC adapter, power jack T shooting.

This or similar problems are common with all laptops. If your particular laptop is still under warranty, of course you can get it repaired under warranty, but most of the time it happens long after the warranty has expired.

Was yours still within the warranty period ?
