Hi I have an Inspiron 6400 laptop. The screen keeps going dark I can still see what is on the screen, it goes back to the normal brightness when I move the scrfeen towards me, but then goes dark again Help driving me mad. Please try not too get too techno on me shell

Probably either a loose cable inside or the back-light/inverter is going out. Either would require opening the laptop to fix it. You should probably take it to a professional.
