My computer is having this problem where the screens will just go blank sometimes when I open up a game or compress a database or things like that. Sometimes the computer will just start up with no video and the mouse will not be on.
Is this an issue with the power supply? Because the computer seems to be on but there is nothing showing up on the monitors.
The powersupply is the one that came with the antec sonata case and its about 3 yrs old.

Could be a powersupply issue. You mentioned that video was also a problem when you power on the machine. When you start the machine and it goes through its P.O.S.T. do you hear any beeps? One of POST's job is to check the video card too see if it is operating correctly.
