Specs: Windows 7 Ultimatte, AMD M320/2Gb
After POST when loading windows the screen flickers like if it has an intermitet contact. When windows finish loading and at the desktop (and when woking with it) everything looks fine. I ran the diagnostic tool that came with the computer to test lcd and video card with no errors. Any idea?. Sorry I try to correct the model two times it doesn´t work. The correct model is Toshiba Satellite part Nº PSLV6U-03JLM5, Model L505D-SP6012L

Is this using windows 7 and on the "Loading Windows" screen? I am getting the same issue. I've reinstalled multiple times and It was never fixed.

It use to be bad, but now it doesn't seem to bad... still does it though. I am wanting it fixed. Also, my laptop made a sound... like squeaky sound. Not sure where it came from, all I know is that it happened a lot. Again, not so often now.. (Unless its because the tv is loud and I cannot hear it)

If you managed to get a fix, let me know asap.

There is nothing to worry about. i have a Samsung LED 23" widescreen monitor and there is also flickering for 2 to 3 seconds DURING the Windows 7 loading screen. The flicker only happens during the last 2 to 3 seconds before it transits to the Welcome screen. It's not a cause for concern.

I think the probable reason is the resolution change while transiting from the Windows loading screen (coloured spiral dots coalescing to form the flashing Windows logo) to the welcome screen. The Loading screen is not at the native resolution of your monitor, and so some flickering might be present while adjusting to your desktop native resolution for the welcome screen.

hope this helps.
