I have an old Tosiba T1800/60 system unit & model No PA1030E serial No 03345668 laptop computer and capable to use dos & windows 3.1 also have 256 memory & 80386 chip & floppy drive type so when i open my computer the screen it shows light color or can't seen or read perfectly i try a lot to agest the screen color but i can't. please tell me about the problems. Thank you

It is usually the Screen Invertor which has failed...

Connect a monitor to the VGA port when the laptop is not running, then boot the laptop - in most cases the video on the external monitor will automatically work. If the display on the external monitor is fine, there's nothing wrong with the display (video) adapter on the laptop. In that case you have a problem with something to do with the LCD display.
