Hi, I was just wondering how long it generally takes to get screen burn. Is it different on all monitors? I have a quite old IBM 5153 CGA Monitor that's hooked up to a IBM 5150 or 5160-XT. I'm putting it on display and it will be running ROM BASIC. How long (approx-do you think) I can leave it on W/O getting screen burn? (ROM BASIC has commands along the bottom of the screen-SAVE,LOAD, ETC that don't go away)

If it's really a CGA (RGB) monitor, I doubt you will get any screen burn-in. That's generally been a problem with monochrome monitors (black/white/amber/green) that will produce a phosphur burn in the screen.
Good luck.

Yeah, color monitors don't really have that problem. I'm not saying they DON'T have it, but they’re much less vulnerable to it then monochrome monitors are.
Hmm... for a monochrome monitor I'm going to say about 2-3 hours maybe less.
