all was good with my thinkpad but now i can use it only with external monitor. when i turn it on after few min the screen turn black, and the only solution that i found is using external monitor to view my desktop?
i got thinkpad t43

Check for a very dim display. It's probably a backlight or inverter problem. Unless you are pretty handy, it will probably have to go to a shop for repair.
