Scanner had been working fine with Canon 450 ptr. Have new 40Gb HDD also fine, but now scanner won't scan! Its "panel" comes up, but "Preview" gives a "communication problem" report. Have ckd all cables and settings. Ptr still fine. Canon no help. Any ideas please: now suspecting scanner, which still under warranty.
