Comment: Hello, and thank you for your time. I want to watch movies, and monitor my computer on my 19 inch flatscreen TV. My Video card is built into my mobo, and does not have a TV out. I was wondering, what would be cheaper, buying a Scan Converter, or a new video card. If a new video card is the best option, than can you please seggest a good one. I have a very low budget, I have an open agp slot, I need to be able to watch downloaded movies, DVDs, and thats about it. I do not do any PC gaming.

Reply: (edit)Get an video card. The onboard one uses system RAM. Prices varie from place to place. Probably the cheapest one you can get it's localy, but do try newegg.com . I've seen that people here used it alot. GooD LucK! It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

Reply: (edit)You will be very disatisfied with using a TV for a monitor. The resolution of an analog TV is very low compared to a monitor.
