I have had a nagging crash problem and it seems to be caused my my SB A2 sound card.
I would either be playing a game or music and at least once a day it would freeze my system and make an anoying beeeeeeeep through my speakers..
I went ahead and made my onboard sound my default.. I havent had the problem since.
Could this be a driver issue? My mainboard is an MSI K7N2-ILSR nF2.. It has excellent on board sound..
I was thinking, should I just remove the Audigy2 and stick with the onboard sound? All I do is run a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's (not into computer surround, I have my Vega/Bose Home System for that).
I basically just listen to music and game (mostly game with headphones).
What do you guys think???

If you are happy with the onboard sound then stick with that. If not then I would try reloading the drivers for the sound card. Does it show up with any problems in "Device Manager"?

No, It says it is working properly. Very strange to say the least. I had the latest drivers from Sound Blaster, but I will revert to the drivers that came with the retail package and see if that is a fix.
Thanks Dave for your response...
