sata2 hd with sata mobo

I was wondering if I could use sata2 harddisk with my sata only supported mobo.

It will still run at maximum speed. There are no hard drives available that come close to pushing the SATA or even the IDE 133mhz limit. Sorry, I do not check for private messages
