Do these connectors work entirely satisfactorily New comp has SATA MB, would like the use of existing IDE HDs. Don't know anyone to ask who has used these adaptors.
Well, yes. Depends also. They are all made just as cheap as can be.

We use that stuff for odd backup and restore so I can't say about the speed. We set it and forget it.
