can any one explain how to work the master / slave setting with an SATA HD ? cause im not clear on how it works, and i want to ad my OS to one of my SATA drives (the larger one) and i would also like to know if im gonna have problems have'n 1 master SATA, 1 SATA slave and 2 IDE slaves ? thanks for all the help all !

SATA doesn't have masters and slaves. There is only one drive on a controller. The IDE drives in the system will still follow the master/slave rules and constraints.
