Hi guys,
I was busy sorting out my files on a 250gig hard drive (Slave), and all of a sudden the drive disappear and hard drive was no longer reading.

I have tried to replace sata cables, thought maybe it will resolve; but still nothing was detected.
The hard drive itself shows no signs of damages even nasty sounds.

So could you please help.

Watch the POST screens at startup to determine if the SATA drive is properly identified by the BIOS. If you can't see any POST screens then boot into the BIOS (setup) and disable both fast boot and any logos. That should allow the POST screens to show.

The fact that the drive winked out during use is not a good sign. The instructions above will halp determine if the issue may be hardware or Windows related.
