Specs: Windows 2008 R2, 2.4GHz Opteron/8GB
My problem:
My Computer will not recongnize attached SATA drive thru the Sata Controller
When I boot into my Windows 2008 O/S ( it has the boot drive ) and try to force the machine to reconize disks with disk management it gives me a blue screen with
Machine Halted, Contact Hardware vendor error.

How do I solve this problem ?

Diagnosis done already:
The drive is fine. I can see the drives if I connect thru the USB
The enclosure and cables are fine. I had a different model enclosure Nexstar 3 as well as Hornettek and I have the same problem.
Cables are not an issue as I got all new cables and switched them around as well.

My PCI Sata Card information.

I bought IOCrest 4 channel PCO SAT II Raid Host Controller Card
Hornettek HOVER 3.5" SATA HDD External Enclosure ( with esata )
Seagate barracuda 7200 1 TB Sata Drive

I have the following configuration for my Server

My server is a HP DL 385
server are dual 2.4GHz Opteron Processors
8GB RAM (4 x 2GB)
Dual power supplies
2x ultra-320 SCSI 72GB Hard Drives (with room for 4 additional drives)
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports
USB, PS2 ports

Additional Info:
When I boot the Server, i can see that the raid controller for the SATA card I installed is there. When I am going to the settings by pressing CTRL+S , F4 I cannot see any drives either.

Are you connecting the drives internally or externally through the esata port?
If external, try setting up internally to verify functioning of the card. You don't need to boot windows, Just F4 into the setup screen again to view the drives attached.
