I have a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 1gb flash drive that I have been using for quite some time now. I recently purchased a new laptop and the flash drive would not work correctly, so I downloaded the appropriate driver from the Sandisk website onto the flash drive...and now all of my data is gone!!! I can only assume that the driver overwrote all of my important and confidential data, but I did not see any disclaimer or warning that it would do so. I REALLY need this data back. I have tried numerous data recovery programs, but all to no avail. Is there any way possible to retrieve this data? PLEASE HELP!!!

There's a link below to a freeware recovery program which I have used in the past with great success.
If you read the user reviews it has recovered data from all types of media and the recovery rate is far greater with files if they haven't been overwritten.
The GUI is a little confusing but once you figure it out it's really quite easy.
Hope it works for you if you haven't tried it already.
