Hey I have a sandisk 6-in-1 pc card adapter thats not working. Whenever I put it in it says it needs to be formatted so I do it but it doesn't work. I know its not the computer because Ive tried it on multiple computers. I also tried the trick where you delete the partition but my computer won't let me. Any help?

thanks

What trick was that? Partitions only apply to hard disks, not removable media like card readers. Do you actually have a memory card in the card reader. If so it may be that is the problem. Try a different memory card.

I have tried a different memory card. Look I have a thing that goes into my phone. I take that out put it in the adaptor and put that in the sandisk thing. It comes up and says would you like to format. I say yes and then it says it can't complete the format.

If you are talking about SIM cards? If so then SIM cards do not need and cannot be formatted.

SIM cards are 15mm x 100mm with a corner cut off. They have a gold segmented area like you find on a credit card.

I have never seen a multiple card reader that takes SIM cards although there are USB thingies that will. The specs for your device make no mention of SIM cards.

SIM cards used in telephones are a completely different thing than memory cards used in digital cameras and hand held computers.
