You need to isolate whether the issue is with the remote or the TV unit itself. If you take the battery out of the remote does the TV still swap source randomly? If so the problem is with the control unit of the TV. As for repairs you need to weigh up the cost against replacement with a comparable unit. If it is a modern "Smart" TV with internet connection you may be able to rectify things with a firmware update. Apart from this it is a job for a qualified tech.
