Specs: Windows 10, 4Gb
Hey, I have upgraded my samsung netbook from Win7 starter to Win10(though no compatibility due to hardware pblm i.e. I have VGA installed. But somehow, I have managed to install Windows 10
Now, suddenly, while updating, my netbook screen goes blurred(you cannot see anything, except some vertical lines in black and white) Neither am I able to login in to safe mode or bios
pl help how to correct it The model NP-N1023-Bo1IN Samsung Netbook

First try an external monitor and see if the screen looks the same. The fact the pre-windows screens--bios setup, boot menu and I assume the posting or logo screen--are also affected indicates a hardware problem somewhere and the fact it happened when it did was just a coincidence.

Hi As per your suggestion, I have tried to connect an external monitor thro`VGA but the screen of the monitor says No Signal The netbook looks the same

Now pl suggest what should be done ?

Try what Derek recommends in # 7 here:

I know the symptoms aren't the same with yours but sometimes that fixes oddball problems.

If that doesn't help, sometimes it may just be a loose connection to the screen but since it's a laptop/netbook that's not an easy fix for the user. If it's not a connection issue then it's some other internal hardware problem that may require a shop to fix it.

Is it still under warranty?

Hi Sir
Tnx for your quick reply. Well, the Netbook is not under Warranty
Neither I am not able to start in safe mode nor able to find what is going inside the system! Only colored vertical lines. Whenever I press some keys, some changes happen in the display,but ooops, no clear picture am I able to view

Since you can see changes in the lines when you press keys hopefully it's a video problem and everything else is ok. But still, the only way to find out what it is and fix it is for someone to take it apart and see if they can figure it out.

Some things aren't easy to fix.
