Hello there, I have a Samsung SyncMaster
215TW 21" LCD monitor, about 18 months old.
Recently it has started randomly flashing up
a little blue square in the center, usually
twice in quick succession. Usually the first
time is blank and the second time contains a
0 with a little degrees symbol above it. The
frequency of this is totally random,
sometimes 1-2 times a minute then not again
for hours.

I called Samsung technical support and they
said it might be a driver issue and related
to the monitor thinking its orientation has
changed but after uninstalling, reinstalling
and trying on multiple OS variants the
problem still persists.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar
and no a way to fix it? Is there a way of
turning off these notifications? Do I need
to abandon it as a possible loss? :sigh:

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help
me out with this!

James
