Solved Samsung internal Hard drive become Unallocated

Specs: Windows 7
I have a Samsung :HD502hi, 500gb internal hard drive last time when im going to re-install windows 7 my hard drive become un-allocated and its shows 931.51gb un-allocated can i recover my data from this hard drive,plz help me out

Since you were planning on doing a reinstall the time to backup your files was before you attempted the reinstall, not after.

During a reinstall you get an option to delete the existing partition. Once done that space is now unallocated. I assume that's what you did. Normally then you create a new partition in that unallocated space and continue with the reinstall.

If you now want to revert back to what you had there's a lot of software that can help. You might try this:

You can do a google search for "unallocated space" recover for other suggestions. Whatever you use will need to be installed on a bootable flash drive or cd/dvd. It's important that you don't do anything else with the hard drive--that is don't create a new partition, format or attempt to write to it. If you do, that will make recovery more difficult. Just run the recovery software.
