Hi all. Have a problem when trying to print a picture in 1200 dpi color or greyscale. I always get an error "SPL-C Error - uw_color < 5". I am able to print text files in 1200 dpi though. Any ideas?

"If you go to the "Device settings" tab under printer properties, if you have
"Job Timeout" or "Wait Timeout" raise these to like 300 and 900 seconds. This
appears to be a spooler timeout issue."If this works thank Google for providing the search engine and the person who bothered to type your error into it's search box for using it!

Well, while I appreciate the reply I could do without the sarcasm. Had you read my question thoroughly and the web page where you found my "fix" you would have seen that the error at that site was not mine. Here is the error for the fix that you suggested: "I get a 'SPL-C ERROR - FALSE' or 'SPL-C ERROR - Incomplete session by timeout' when I'm trying to print to my color laser." My error is: "SPL-C Error - uw_color < 5".
For the record I have searched for my error multiple times on Google as well as other search engines and not found anything. I have also dealt with Samsung tech support who did not have an answer either.
In addition for those of you with the same problem there does not seem to be a way to change the spool timeout settings (at least I could not find it) for this printer. I also tried the "print directly to the printer" option and that did not work. Also, the new driver from Microsoft update does not fix the problem.
Any other ideas (please no more sarcasm...I am pretty computer literate and usually find my own solutions if they exist.
