Hi people.

Well, I lost the power supply for this hub, in the jack it says 'DC 5v' but I dont have one, I have a power adapter of a TP-Link router and the voltage is '9v' I tested the hub with this and it works fine, but I know the hub is only for 5v, do you think is safe to keep working with the 9v adapter?

Thanks in advance.

High voltage (pressure) can do damage. High amperage (flow) is only it's "current handling capacity" - what is using it will only draw what it needs - no damage.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

No, that's too much voltage, it will eventually do some damage to the electronics..

Thanks THX, I forgot to tell the amperage is 600ma. But I think I will not use. Do you think a cheap 5v cell phone charger could be useful for the hub?
