Specs: Windows XP 2007
For some odd reason between last night and this morning when I try to boot the computer up, it gives me : UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME, I then get the recommendation to boot it again in safe mode, and I've tried all the variations of safe mode and the same error pops up. I just want to wipe the drive and reinstall windows but how can i get to a dos menu if it keeps locking up like this? Thanks in advance.

First you would need to tell us if you have all the CD and DVD's that you would need.

Normally to install XP one boots to the cd and then follow the instructions. At some point in the install you are asked where to put the install. At that point you'd have to delete the current partition. (wipe it out)

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
