Hey there, I'm trying to get Warcraft 3 to work on my laptop...unfortunately it has an s3 Twister K graphics card... The game runs, BUT I get invisible wisps and all the other graphics are dodgy, seeming only partially rendered. I have run the tester from blizzard, all tests are fine except those for OpenGL, could this be my problem? If so what can I do? Please help!!!

Have you tried lowering your screen resolution? lower res means less work for the video processor. of course the pix isn't as good.

What kind of laptop do you have?
Compaq has a new driver for Win XP that fixes bugs. Maybe your laptop manufacturer does too.
Also these are the minimium requirements to run the game. Make sure your laptop has the memory and Direct X requirements.
Windows 98/Me/XP/2000, 400MHz Pentium II processor or better, 128MB RAM, 4X CD-ROM, 8 MB 3D video card with DirectX 8.1 support, 700MB available hard disk space.

Yup I meet the minimum specs. And yes I have altered all the graphics settings back and forth, experimenting with everything. One thing that was getting me somewhere was when I started fiddling a bit with -opengl -direct3d switches...bit obscure though. Any more help, please let me know
