Does anyone know what exactly an RTC Battery is?? I have a Toshiba laptop that comes up with an error message, regarding this...

RTC refers to cmos battery, that means its probably dying. Its time to change it to a new battery before you lost all your bios configuration data

That is correct Real Time Clock or CMOS that contains BIOS
