Hi I am using a D-Link 4 port router on my system and my Internet connection will always cut out on me. I have a DSL connection and it works fine if I don't use the router at all. With the router, if the machine hasn't been used for a while (sometimes 10min, sometimes an hour), when I come back to use the Internet, all I get is "This page cannot be displayed etc". If I unplug the router and plug it in again, it usually will work again....but it will do the same thing again. I have checked the settings as far as an 'auto-disconnect' and I think they are all correct (or set to not use). I have tried this setup on Windows XP machines and had no problems, and I have tried 2 routers but I get the same problem.
I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction as to what the problem may be? I was wondering if it could be something in Windows Me maybe??
