I would like to know of a retailer (not eBay!)
such as a online computer store that carries
EISA riser cards. I would like PCI in my 486,
but that means I need a new riser card. I want a card with at least 1 ISA and one PCI. AGP would be nice too...

I may be wrong, but it doesn't seem to me that it's possible for an ISA riser card to have a PCI slot.

They do exist, but the motherboard has to have a chipset that can handle the ports, otherwise, it wont work...

I know they exist--I have seen them, and my
computer can handle PCI.

Ok, well, I don't know where you can get one. But, your best bet would be at a thrift store. I bought a Pentium III there for $23!

in response to your question bout agp.. agp would not benefit the system on a 486, the bus would be to slow to support it. why not try ebay?
