Riptide Sound card

I recently formatted by HD and installed Win98SE

I had backed up all the most recent drivers (full not updates).
Everything works except the soundcard (possibly modem too - don't use it).

I get this message when running the driver install:

RipUtil:
Unable to locate the RipTide device.
Legacy feature disabled.

(It worked fine before format).
