Restoring graphic drivers

July 16, 2010 at 23:21:25
Specs: Mac OS X 10.5.8
I tried to install some update not designed for my card (intel X3100) and screwed up my graphic card driver. It was update for nvidia cards to be able to run in 256 colours mode. I didnt cleverly made a backup so I was able to run only in safe mode. Then I tried to copy the kexts from original cd, which was partially successful, but I got error messages on starup and wasnt able to run some programs. Is there a way to restore graphic drivers on mac without reinstalling the system?

i don't know about steve jobs but intel and nvidia are 2 different companies. The latest driver can be found from system manufacture website or intel website. Un-install current driver befor installing new driver.

Yeah, I am stupid I didnt read the description in the installer of the driver update and thats why I screwed the drivers...
Unfortunately it doesnt work like that with macs. The driver is inside the system and is updated automatically with system updates. On intel web is nothing.
