Resource Conflicts

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 3.01 GHz / 1023 MB
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A110 with an error message that reads

HTW20 Bios Version 2.00
Mouse initialiized
Resource Conflict - PCI on Motherboard
Bus:06, Device: 04, Function:00
it repeats the error 3 more times except the difference is the Function is 01, 02, 03

Any ideas?

So far I've updated the BIOS to the latest version and loaded the BIOS defaults, neither of which worked at all.

The computer boots but the mouse doesn't work. Everything else seems to be fine once Windows boots.

Is this a laptop? Are you connecting an external mouse or are you referring to the integrated pointing device?

It is laptop, and yes, referring to internal mouse.

Do you know how to maneuver using the keyboard? If so, go into Device Manager and see how the pointing devices are listed there.

Remove ALL instances of them and reboot.
