Comment:

My monitor only displays a small box that alternates between the words 'digital' and 'analog'. The CPUs fans run non-stop. I assumed it was the graphics card, so I swapped it with the new one. But in the instructions it states I have to uninstall the old card and install the new one for it to work.

How can I do this with no display? Or is the graphics card not the problem, what else could it be?

Try what?

On the front it says

Graphics:
Nvidia Geforce 6150 LE

So i thought that was the graphics card I pulled out.

"Graphics:

The 6150 is built into the motherboard, it is NOT a card.

"i thought that was the graphics card I pulled out"

Did you have to disconnect the monitor cable from the card before you removed it?

maybe my explanation wasn't written well. I'll work on the problem later this weekend.
