Repair Scratches for laptop

CPU/Ram: athlon 320
Product: fujitsu siemens

I have just bought a second hand fujitsu siemens laptop (amilo) silver colored but it has two pretty nasty sctactches on the cover(casing). Does anyone know of a product that might help to diminish these scrathches please?

If you know a friendly auto-body repair person, they can probably polish and/or respray such that no trace of the scratches remain.

I'm not familiar with the case of that laptop, but there is a product made for plastic boat windshields, sold at marine accessory stores.

Other than that, auto body "rubbing compound" or "polishing compound" made for auto paint finish.

Thanks for the replies. Auto repair sounds good! I suppose if I knew exactly what the casing was made of it would help. Sounds a bit expensive..eek!
