Removing Ramsinks.....?

Hello, As you can see from my sig i have an ATI Radeon 9800xt and it is currently watercooled. I have clued on some ramsinks to the memory modules with "Arctic Silver Alumina Thermal Adhesive " and on there website it says "this Adesive is permanant!"...
Basically was wondering if anyone knows any tricks to be able to remove the ramsinks so i can put the original cooler back on...?
