This is probably the stupid question of the
day but here it goes... I'm a 1st time laptop
owner (Compaq 515 Win7 Home Pro 64
bit) and the wireless LAN [Broadcom
802.11 b/g] always shows up on boot as a
removable device, like a jump drive. Is this
normal? When I eject it, my wireless
connection goes down then comes back
up (HP Wireless Asst.) I'd rather it didn't
show up in the taskbar, but, I guess, it isn't
hurting anything. Thanks in advance for
any help. SB644
