I recently purchased a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1600. I am not able to get the remote control to work on the computer. The remote was made for windows media center. Is there any way to get this remote to work on Windows XP Home Edition?

I got it working. I extracted the files from WindowsXP-KB912024-v2-x86-ENU

You are a bit impatient aren't you? Less than 12 minutes after your original post you found a solution. Would have been better to try on your own BEFORE posting.
