Comment: I replaced my motherboard and CPU --when I turn the compiter no I see no images on the screen. No post/no Cmos. I am using an rage pro 128 video carg via a agp 4x slot

Reply: (edit)Try clearing the CMOS and re-seat everything. Make sure that the processor fan is connected to the proper header. Recheck the case wiring. Did you use a thermal pad or paste on the HS? Check for FSB jumpers.

Reply: (edit)Ni i didn't hear any beeps and the fan came with the thermal paste on it. The CPU and Case fans are working. All the voltages going to the motherboard are correct. Waht are FSB jumpers? I also tried new Ram. still no avail. Once I turn the machine on I just hear the two fans come on nothing else is happening. i tried booting up without the HD and CD rom coneected to motherboard nothing works. 1.6g amd pros mercury kt266a socket a MB 256Mb Ram ATI rage pro 128 graphics card

Reply: (edit)How many RAM slots do you have and how many sticks of RAM are you using? I once had an old computer that wouldnt boot at all, no beeps or nothing unless at lease one stick of RAM was in the first slot. Try rearanging the RAM (using slot 0) and see what happens. -Milk
