My computer is taking an awful long time to load at start up. While waiting if I look in the task manager, I have three svchost.exe, one is Network Service, second is Local Service and last is System processes running. the one is using between 85-99 % of cpu and holding things up. If I stop this process my computer loads right up. Why do I have two of these processes and can I get a solution for this problems.

Multiple instances of svchost are common. Run msconfig and go to startup. Disable whatever you don't need to load at boot time. Reboot, click ok and don't return to normal startup.

From my knowledge and experience that is an important system program. Stopping the wrong instance of it can cause you computer to have to restart. It is common to have multiple instances running. I have 5 going at this time.
