reformat the C drive

i have a question. i am about to install vista. i installed all my games on D drive. so when reformat my C drive. i know my games will still be there, but will the games work? since all the registry will be gone. but will the games automatically regenerate new registry once i run them or the games wont run?

Depends on the application. Some automatically regenerate registry entries, most don't so you will have to re-install. However the games setting if they are stored in .ini files in the application folder will still be intact.

The only way to find out is to suck it and see.

Not very complete information. Are you sure that your hardware is Vista compatible? Do you not know your system specs, or were you just too lazy to type in the information?
