red light on and beeping when turning on pc.

well u gotta provide more information on that, is it a pc or a laptop? although iam guessing its a laptop, a red light on the battery can mean lots of things: battery is dead, battery needs charging or battery needs replacing. now the beeping could be because of the battery or because of some hardware. to start of list ur specs including the model of ur laptop or pc. any changes uve done. and try plugging the laptop in the AC adapter and see what changes computers are a second home NVIDIA GeForce GS_Toxict51

Please post the make/model of your computer. "Nothing will start up and there is information on the monitor" If there's information on the monitor, why didn't you post it?

Not all PC are the same.. Explain the problem with more details, and give us the spec/info. It's sounds like a dead battery on your laptop.... Try charging it...
