Recovery Disk in Vista is full & won't clea

Specs: Windows Vista, 2.00GB
I have a Vista Home Premium 32 bit system.
The recovery disk is full but I cannot get disk cleanup
to clean it.
How can I erase whats in there and is it safe to do?

The recovery partition is used to recover the OS in case of serious problems. You should not add or delete any files in this folder. You should not alter the contents of this folder in any way or you risk corrupting it's contents, rendering it unusable for it's intended purpose.

Thank you for the post. I have actually fixed it. I went to the Windows Community
and got and answer from Rami.
This wa the fix;
Click on Start button,
click on computer button,
double click Recovery Disk (D),
delete the MediaBin file and the file with the name
of your computer (such as My Home PC),
hold the shift button down while pressing the delete
button - this will permanently delete the file.
Worked beautifully.
