Hi all,
I was ramaging through my stuff the other day, and found a heap of 5.25 inch floppy discs. These were from an Apple II computer we had back in 1982, and contain heaps of basic programs that I wrote when I was about 13. There is about fifteen discs and would like very much to recover the data on there. There would be three questions I would need to know.
Would they be places in Sydney Australia to convert the floppy discs into disc images, to put to CD-R?
What format of a disc image should I get them converted into?
What is the most common Apple II emulator software out there for a Windows XP machine?
Dunno, see phone book or online.
A format that your current system could access.
Sheepshaver maybe, mac on stick, might just be able to use HFS file support in linux or beos.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
