Can someone please help me here. I've never tried this and don't know what I'm doing. All I want to do is record thru the line-in but in can't figure it out. thanks

I definitly don't know my stuff that well, thats why I'm here. But I think I may be able to answer your question. First you need some type of audio software that supports recording through line in such as Musicmatch jukebox. Next you need a certain type of cable. If you go to radioshack and tell them exactly what your trying to do, they should be able to get you the right cord. Finally you may need to go to the control panel in "My Computer" and change the audio settings for recording to line in, this shouldn't be too complex. And when your all finished one end of the cord goes in the Line in and the other in the device. I hope that helped at least a little.
