Comment: I did have a PNY model Geforce 6 6600 AGP8x card but that stopped working on me and since nothing was physically wrong with port or card I have not been able to fix it. So I've decided on a new card, but have not been looking at what's hot and what's not in ages. Basically I know if I was to stay with the Geforce 6 range the 6800 Ultra is what I want to get. Basically I want to know what you guys recommend as a card to get with at least 256Meg VRAM and must be an agp slot card. I'm not going to be going for ultra gaming performance (even though the 6800 is still a good card at least for the games I'm going to be playing). Regards Lupin3rd

Reply: (edit)I use an eVGA nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra. It's AGP and runs all of my games very well. Not sure on what the price is, as I bought mine over a year ago. Have you looked on newegg.com for cards?

Reply: (edit)Actually, a nice $100 good performing graphics card would be an ATI Radeon X1600. After I upgraded from my All In Wonder 9800 PRO, I was amazed at how fast it was. Be careful though, because you need to have at least a 350 Watt Power Supply, and mines only 300, and it overheats, so I have to keep my pc open. If you close it, the whole PC sounds like a car engine!

Reply: (edit)"and since nothing was physically wrong with port or card I have not been able to fix it." Have you emailed PNY & if you haven't why haven't you? Too bad on your timing for a new AGP card - CompUSA about a month ago offloaded all their Radeon X850 PRO for $99 each and they all disappeared very quickly. And a couple of weeks ago, you could still snatch the same AGP card at other places for about $150. At this time unfortunately, you won't find the card anywhere but ebay for under $200. ATI RADEON X850 PRO (AGP) RETAIL. That card is your best option - all things considered.
