Reply: (edit)Hello: I guess I will run redhat linux 7.3. It will be a web server with mass database applications. I mostly concerned about the speed. I am thinking about Intel Xeon and PIII processor, but can't decide which one is better. Alan

Reply: (edit)Dual p3 xeon's will make one ultra amazing server.. If you can?,buy them off e-bay you can find a matched set for about $100.00. As for your question....xeons are p2's and p3's suped up for workstations and servers.
