You need an AGP card that will run on 3.3Volts. Finding a new 1X AGP card is next to impossible. Many cards were/are made to be backward compatible. Altough they may be up to even 8X AGP they are still backward compatible. That is the key. Must be backward compatible with 1X AGP. Below are two links. The first is just a link to Pricewatch.com pages for possible matches. The second seems to be a prett good deal, still from pricewatch.com. As always, buyer beware and I recommend contacting the vendor prior to ordering. Should you desire you can run a check on any vendor before buying by going to resellerratings.com. If not found in thier database I would be leery.

Out of curiousity, where did you get that board info from? The MS-6340 is aka the MSI K7TM-Pro. It's not a slot-A board, it's a socket A & it has a 4X AGP slot. There's no point going overboard with a video card, but there are plenty of 4X/8X cards to choose from.

thanks othehill............and jam may be i picked up the wrong link for the mobo.
i was going to take a pic be can't find any battery's any were.
anyway the the sticker says (MS-6340 VER:1)

As jam stated your board is a socket A (462) and can use AGP 1x, 2x, 4x cards. Below is a link for the board.

No, you can use any card that is AGP 4x capable. That would include most AGP 8x cards as well. This is because generally speaking AGP cards are backward compatible on level, or more if designed that way. Below are a couple of links to cards. The first is for 4x/8x cards. Keep in mind an 8x card is only going to run at 4x in your MBoard. The second is for 2x/4x cards. You might have a problem with your power supply if you buy a power hungry card.
